Lance Kassab is a member of the State
Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the United States District
Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States Fifth Circuit
Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Lance graduated from law
school with honors and was the Editor-in-Chief of law review. While attending law school, Lance
interned at the Texas Supreme Court in Austin and the First Court of
Appeals in Houston.
After graduating from law school, Lance
had the distinction of serving as briefing attorney for the First Court
of Appeals. At the Court, Lance
reviewed appeals and prepared draft and final opinions with the justices
assigned to the cases. The
First Court of Appeals has jurisdiction to review cases from the state district
courts from fourteen counties in and around Harris County. These cases encompass every aspect
of Texas law. This experience
provided Lance with the opportunity to review trial court error, as well
as error made by attorneys handling cases at the trial court level in many
different areas of law. After leaving the Court, Lance entered
private practice where he could put this experience to work in the area
of legal malpractice. Over
the years, Lance has had the opportunity to work on many multi-million dollar
cases, including multi-million dollar personal injury cases. Your results
